Setting Up Information:-
After fitting the Moulton Smootha-Ride kit, the ride heights will need adjusting to correct your Mini's stance. This will be achieved by means of the Mini Sport Adjusta-Ride suspension units.
Recommended Settings:-
- Suspension Height -
- Measure from the wheel centre to the wheel arch lip
- Front height - 300mm
- Rear height - 320mm
- Front wheel track:-
- 1/16” Toe Out
- Rear wheel track & camber
- Use the Mini Sport adjustable rear tracking brackets:-
- Track - 1/16” Toe In.
- Camber - negative (-) 3/4 ° (degree)
- The Mini will then need road testing for approximately 10-15 miles, to enable the suspension to settle down. All the settings must be re-checked and adjusted accordingly.
- Once the car has covered a further 100-200 miles, it may be necessary to make further adjustments, thereafter it will need to be checked at normal servicing intervals, and adjusted accordingly.
