Mini Sport 850cc Reconditioned Engines.

Remanufactured engines and engine and gearbox units to suit the Mini 850cc A Series models.  Since 1967, Mini Sport has been producing a range of remanufactured engines built on a long established commitment to engineering excellence and customer satisfaction. Our commitment has always been to keep our beloved Mini's on the road when new replacement units have long since ceased to be available.

Our state of the art remanufacturing machines using the latest techniques along with very experienced and knowledgeable technicians allows us to utilise our specialist remanufacturing skills so we can engineer to tighter tolerances and finer surface finishes which, in turn, can give improved emissions, increased reliability, longer service life and enhance performance.

Mini 850cc Engine specification and applications

The Mini version of the 850cc A series engine used the 62.9 mm (2.48 in) bore, stroke 68.26 mm (2.687 in), and was produced from 1959 through to 1980 where is was replaced by the Mini 998cc A series.  The 850cc engine produced 34 hp (25 kW) at 5500 rpm and 44 lb·ft (60 N·m) at 2900 rpm.
