What Power Output Can I Expect from Fitting This Kit?

Answer: Testing has consistently shown that the Turbo Kit can double the horsepower and torque of your engine.

For example:

• 850cc Engine: Standard output is 24 HP at the wheels, increasing to 50 HP with the Turbo Kit.
• 998cc Engine: Standard output is 32 HP at the wheels, increasing to 60 HP with the Turbo Kit.

What Do I Need to Fit the Standard Kit?

Answer: The standard Turbo Kit only requires a standard HIF44 carburettor from any A-series or A+ engine. A Turbo-specific carburettor is not necessary.

Is This Kit Compatible with Different Mini Engine Sizes (998, 1098, & 1275)?

Answer: Yes, the Turbo Kit is compatible with all A-series & A+ transverse Mini engines, including 998, 1098, and 1275cc.

What Modifications Are Needed if My Mini Already Has the HIF44 Carburettor?

Answer: Simply change the carb needle and spring supplied in the kit, and then tune accordingly. No other modifications are needed.

What if My Mini Doesn’t Have an HIF44 Carburettor?

Answer: The HIF44 Intake Assembly Master Kit works perfectly as supplied, with no additional modifications required.

Can I Use the Turbo Kit with a Standard Ignition System?
