1098cc Cylinder Head - Reconditioned

1098cc A series cylinder head by the experts at Mini Sport.

Fully reconditioned to original specifcations, painted with the choice of 4 colours and delivered ready to fit.

Please note that as 1098 head castings are becoming increasingly difficult to source we will require your casting to work on.

Available with 2 options:-

1. no water bypass
2. with water bypass adaptor tube (12A2075) for fitment of the bypass hose (GZA2086)
   (You will require the (GWP134)water pump to which has the bypass tube outlet.)

The water bypass hose circulates cooler water to the thermostat, allowing the heater to warm up faster, perfect for those cold winter mornings!

Reconditioning Process

Each head is carefully selected and thoroughly checked before being cleaned and any defective parts discarded.

All heads are then refaced and fitted with new “Unleaded” valve seats, new valve guides, new valve stem seals, and new valve springs.

Finally each head is tested, inspected and painted, so that when you receive your Mini Sport reconditioned cylinder head you have our “quality assurance”.
