Despite its outward appearance, a closer inspection revealed a battleground of rust and decay, hidden within its cracked inner wings. It was a challenge only the brave would take on, and at Mini Sport, we were ready to embrace it.

Faced with the extensive deterioration, we embarked on a journey not just to restore but to reimagine this classic Mini. The decision was made to start afresh with a new body shell from British Motor Heritage, ensuring the Mini's legacy would endure on a foundation built to last. This shell was then meticulously prepared, primed, and painted in the Mini's iconic Brooklands Green, complemented by a striking white roof, in a process that showcased the skill and attention to detail of our body technicians.
Beyond the Surface
Restoration is more than skin deep, and our approach to the Brooklands Green Mini Cooper LE MPi was no exception. From powder-coated subframes rebuilt with new components to the installation of an upgraded Smootha-Ride suspension, we ensured that every aspect of the Mini's specification matched its stunning appearance. The heart of the Mini, its engine and gearbox, was revitalised, setting the stage for a driving experience as exhilarating as the day it first hit the road.
Crafting the Interior Experience
The interior of a classic Mini is a space of timeless charm and elegance. We took great care in restoring the original green leather seats special to the LE, alongside modern enhancements such as power steering for a seamless blend of classic aesthetics and contemporary comfort. The transformation culminated in the application of new checkered decals and the original type Cooper LE side and boot decals, signifying not just the completion of a restoration, but the rebirth of a legend.
